Day 60
Stats: Walked 36 minutes, 5 laps plus from & to school
Totally wore myself out between Tuesday & Wednesday. So, I wasn't functioning the best this morning. I had decided to give myself a break today.
This afternoon, I felt quite a bit better. So, I drove to school early, in order to get my walk in before picking Jay up.
I was rather slow though. Around 4:44 per lap.

Stats: Walked 1 hour 15 minutes, 16 laps
Gorgeous day. But, cold.
Last night, I discovered evidence that I am losing inches. Last night, when I put on a pair of pajama pants that had gotten a little snug, they were loose. Not hanging off me loose. But, fit right loose. Yay!

Day 57
Stats: Walked 38 minutes, 8 laps
I'm very happy that I managed to get a walk in today. Had a terrible night last night. Woke up with heartburn at 4:45 am. Stupid Mexican food. By 6:10, when the alarm went off, I was fighting nausea. Blech!
After getting Jay off to school, I hit the couch. Not long afterward, Jay called because he had forgotten something he needed for school. Since I had to run into town to drop that off, I decided to at least get in 4 laps.
My right calf bothered me a bit while walking. But, I managed to get 8 laps in. Actually, I wasn't even done walking at the point. However, the grey clouds were moving in. I watched a wall of rain coming over the mountains. Figured it was a good time to head to the car.
No sooner had I walked in my door, the rain came down in sheets.

Sabotage
Don't you just love it when someone sabotages your good intentions? How about when that someone is yourself?
Yesterday, I made brownies. Delicious, gooey, wonderful brownies. Small squares of chocolatey goodness that calls my name & delights my tastebuds. My own personal addiction that draws me back to the pan, again & again, for just one little bite.

Day 54
Stats: Walked 11 laps, 1 hour + (missed timing the first lap)
Walked with Tammy this morning after dropping Jay off at school. We were kind of slow this morning. Laps over 5 and 1/2 minutes.
I enjoyed catching up with her. Sure does make the time & laps fly by.

Day 53
Stats: Walked 54 minutes in town
Tim and I left home for a walk this afternoon, only to have rain start to pour on the way over the mountain. We ended up stopping to get hay bales. And, I snagged a couple of rose bushes. Just enough time for the rain to stop & plenty of time to walk before picking Jay up after school.

Stepped on the scale this morning. I registered in at 180 pounds, again.
I'm not sure whether to be pleased or frustrated with today's weigh in. At least it wasn't another gain. *sigh*

Day 52
Stats: 10 laps at track, 47 minutes
Ended up getting a late start this morning. Jay's teeth were hurting badly from the new bottom braces & adjustment from yesterday.
I woke up hurting rather badly. The pain was all over, but my shoulders, arms & hands were the worst. We are beginning to wonder if perhaps my pain isn't triggered from changes in the weather. Something to watch for.
Today, I walked alone. Listened to my iPod. I love that little green gadget.
Due to the way I was feeling, 4 laps was my intention. After getting started, I was able to by-pass lap #4. Yay! But, on lap 10, my right calf injury started acting up. The pain hit fast & furious. I basically hobbled the last 3/4 of the lap.

On March 1, I began my weight loss journey.
My first weigh in was 177 pounds. My last weigh in was 180 pounds.
This is not my first attempt at getting healthier. In fact, a gain in weight was normal amongst my previous attempts. Most of the time, that was when I gave up.
Not this time!
I'm in this for the long haul. My weight didn't just appear overnight. It's not going to go away overnight, either.
Here's to the journey...
