Day 9 Stats: Pilates, 30 minutes
Sore from Day 8's class & exercise, so I chose the soothing Pilates.
Day 10 Stats: Pilates, 30 minutes
Day 12 Stats: Walked, 38 minutes (2 miles)
Walked the track. It was 50-something degrees. Should have been a good day to walk outside. But, the wind was terrible and took any warmth I could generate away. Ended up cold to the bone!
After getting home, I spent the next 4 hours on the couch, under numerous blankets, trying to get warm. At one point, J vacated his spot on the couch at my feet. Haley was quick to take his place. He ended up sitting between Haley & I, under the blankets, with my legs over his lap. At that point, with J sharing his warmth under the blankets, I finally started to warm up.
Since Saturday, I have been in a lot of pain. Most likely due to allowing myself to get so cold. What more evidence do I need? Basically, I'm good for pretty much nothing. Plus, I hurt too bad to exercise.
Decisions:
I have decided to abandon my attempt at the 100 Day Challenge. With my issues, I need rest days. My body just isn't capable. If I've learned nothing else, I do know I have to listen to my body & follow it's cues.
At this point, I am really struggling. I'm so tired of feeling exhausted. I'm tired of being in pain. I'm tired of sleeping ridiculous amounts of hours. I'm tired of being cold constantly. And, I am scared! If something doesn't change, I'm afraid that depression will begin setting in. I'm already struggling with my positive outlook.

Day 7 & 8
Monday's Stats: Elliptical, 30 minutes
I despise that machine. But, all the treadmills were in use. With little time until closing, I needed to do something.
Those 2.2 miles on the elliptical was quite an accomplishment.
Tuesday's Stats: Bike, 5 minute warmup; Class, 30 minutes; Walked 55 minutes (3.3 miles)
The boy is home sick today. So, I couldn't make up my mind if I was going to leave him home alone or not. He was sleeping, so I opted to head out to the fitness center.
Today's class is my first ever. Worked the arms & abs. I did well for my first time. The crunches became problematic as the class wore on. Another position was just too hard to maintain for any length of time. I'll be practicing that one at home, as I will be attending this class again.
Unfortunately, I am so sore!

Day 5
Stats: Pilates 30 minutes
My fatigue is ridiculous at present. Slept 14 hours yesterday. Followed by 12 hours today. Still do not feel rested.
The Pilates was the best I could manage under the circumstances.

Day 3
Stats: Walked 40 minutes (2.2+ miles); Bike 5 minutes; Elliptical 5 minutes
Signed up for 2 months at the new fitness center in town. Today was my first time using those facilities. Had my doubts, but I think all the natural light from the huge windows helps.
Didn't mind walking the treadmill. But, I hated the bike & Elliptical machine. It was all I could do to manage the 5 minutes. Ended with a bit of weight training on my upper body. Really need to figure out how best to weight train.
As much as I hated the bike, I still think I'll try a spinning class when they are available.

Day 2
Stats: Walked 35 minutes (2 miles/8 laps)
Despite the music, the walk was an effort. Mental effort, not physical. Just need to re-establish my routine. Did it before. I can do it again!

Starting Fresh--Day 1
Stats: Walked 35 minutes
While I'm still not feeling stellar, I'm doing considerably better. Well enough that I think it's time to give my body a little push.
Therefore, the beginning of March seems like a fine time to begin anew.
Day 1 of my 100 Day Challenge
214 days to train for the Megatransect. I can do this!
